New Year, New Mindset

We have officially entered 2023! The beginning of every year is a good time for reflection. A time to re-evaluate our lives to figure out where we are and what is our destination. What are the next steps we should take on our life journey to get closer to our goal. Then putting a plan into action to achieve them.

When creating your New Year resolutions, don’t overwhelm yourself. Set realistic goals and timelines. Start with a few attainable small goals that you can commit to and take it from there. For example, if your goal is to tidy up or declutter your living space, first look at your schedule. Set a time daily or weekly to start working on one room. If you tend to have a busier schedule, you might want to steer towards weekly. Maybe you’ll want to commit an hour or two every Saturday to decluttering a room. Set specific and measurable goals so you can keep track of your progress. Reward yourself along the way for your hard work and commitment. Even if you falter for a day or two, stay motivated and continue. Don’t look at it as a failure or set back. See it as a part of the journey and use it to motivate you even more.
